yeah, but i put CEL fixes on it. im tryin to figure out how to post a video... is it the same as a pic?mrsmithGrider wrote:Don't the test pipes mess with you 02 senors?
That's what everyone at school today asked was what exhaust i have. i have the stock exhaust actually. the things attached in the picture above are the CEL fixes. The pipes came with nuts and bolts. I bought the pipes off of ebay, and they're called "top speed performance".. the only thing that happens is at around 3000 rpms i feel my feet vibrating and it gives this horrid sound. If it doesnt go away by tomorrow im gonna have to put it back on a lift and see whats wrong. the installation was simple-just time consuming and gotta have the right tools..thanks for the compliment though!!Jacko3 wrote:Really awesome sound!
Did the test pipes come with the spark plug anti foulers which i see attached to the test pipes in the picture above? What make and model is the testpipe you bought and whom did you buy it from? What exahust system does your car have--Greddy EVO or what?
I know, I'm surprised too.... No, they didn't come with the package. But they were only like $10. The test pipes cost me around $110.Jacko3 wrote:Did the CEL fixes come with the test pipe as part of the package? I am amazed at how nice our OEM exhaust sounds with test pipes. How much were the test pipes?
I love it! No, it's not too loud. I love the sound of it. my mpg are going to be way down cause all i want to do is here it. but if i ever do get tired of it, i'll turn my music up..G_whizz wrote:Congrats.
Are you happt with it?
Is it too loud while in the car?
My brother put them on his 350z and with the CEL fixes - he passed emissions... but where i live i don't have inspectionstollboothwilley wrote:I contemplate going with test pipes for the fact that they are a fraction of the cost of HFC's.
The only problem is the emissions inspection...
Has the horrid sound and vibration at 3000 RPM disappeared?phil4watching wrote:
