Can anyone confirm the sound of a "forza-flow" or "Flowsound" muffler is close or the same as a Flowmaster? Unless I import a couple in myself, these other brands seem to be already available cheap here locally. The basic 2 chamber flowmasters here are just under 2hundy each, while on ebay they are around 30-50bucks each. However there are forza-flows here for around $90 for a 3 chamber 'race' muff.Any feedback would be good. I'm after that raspy raw v8 'flowmaster' sound:), without paying $400+.

locally here in florida flowmasters can be had for around 60 usd, but the magnaflow are straight thru and sound better imo

Yeah that does sound sweet! I like the keen driving too.If it was a bit quieter it would be perfect for my workcar, as I drive 40mins each way to work:) but sur ethat does sound good. So are you just using the one dual muffler?

I've got 2 Magnaflow straight through mufflers for the Z, along with a twin entry twin exit for the middle to act like a x-pipe and take some more of the drone off. I've been in a NA VG Z with the same setup and it's great! Would be sooo nice with the VH.

That's why I bought the same

I went with three mufflers - dual 2.25" with two straight through mufflers before the diff, then a single SS twin in/twin out muffler at the rear. Sounds nuts! Definitely not what you'd expect from a quad cam v8.

Although I didn't go with Magnaflow on this car, it is what I use on my Z and recommend to anyone who wants a proper sound.

Car: lots of unique hot rods, and customs, with modern engines, and a good truck to pull the trailer.

I dont know what the ones are on my Z as they came with it, but they are some sort of aftermarket. Sounds awsome, a lil loud, but no rasp, and no nasty idle sounds or annoying echo. I will try to get a pic to see what they are.
