Went to get a G, drove out in an EX

I can't believe I'm driving an EX35. I had taken months to decide on the G35x. I am so completely satisfied with this choice. What a freakin' nice car.

Dealership was great, got a fair price, absolutely loving the product.

I might be sleeping in it tonight.

I went in to get an FX and also got an EX. It must be contagious.

Welcome to the NICO fold EX35er, and so glad you're not emotionally attached to your car!!

I was also initially interested in the G35x, but became sold on the EX because of its many technology features.

Cheers,
David

I agree. My wife and I waited 5 months for the 09 FX35. When it came down to it, the EX was the better test drive.

The EX with premium package is a great car at a decent price, but the loaded EX has so many gadgets to play with... you can easily lose your way.

I would only get a FX if I needed the extra cargo or rear seat space. The 09 FX is sweet but it rides and looks like a truck. I like the feel of the EX being like a slightly jacked up car which gives you good visibility and is easy for people to get in and put of and has al the space I need right now. Also you get a few miles per gallon on the EX. If I out grow the EX in a few years then the FX is my next choice but as far as "crossover" vehicles go, the EX is my only choice.

I was looking for a car for myself, a G also, but I drove the EX and let my wife drive it too. She said it was nice but for me not to buy it and try and pawn it off on her later if I didn't like it... because she wasn't sure what she wanted yet. She decided to look around and after looking at other small SUVs she said" I think I want that Infiniti..."

We are picking up her new car today..

What were you thinking.

Just kidding. Enjoy your ride. I testdrove one EX when they came out. 2 things I was not happy with. Cargo space and back seat room. My G got more room with the same front seat set up or at least fels like. Handling was not bad at all. Little more body roll then the G. Initially I was thinking to go with another car maybe EX. This year maybe next year. I'll wait till the g37x comes out with 7 speed auto to see how I like it. I might upgrade.

What tech feature the EX have what you can get on the G other then 360 view?

Went to check out the G35x; never even test drove it. Stumbled on the EX35 and was pleasantly surprised at the driving dynamics and prefer the interior as well.

I also started out thinking I'd get a G, but after driving it, it just felt too sedan-y. I love the way the EX "gets" the way I drive. Most responsive car I've ever had, and the easiest to feel at home in. I have had mine a couple weeks now and LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!
