please do not buy anything from this guy, at least till he steps up and ships my transmission out, i have paid for the item 1 week ago and he has contacted me only once after the payment, told me it would ship by Friday but he has not given me any information since even though i have tried to contact him everyday through e-mail.

It sucks you can't trust anyone! I sent payment on his other classified thread for a wire harness and was able to cancel paypal payment after 3 days of no response. Good luck apollo500!

As far as i have deduced the guy is a scammer, he sent me and email address to which to send the payment to, and then did not ship my transmission out after the payment was complete. I tried emailing him several times and he did not respond, the only thing i knew was that he was supposed to send it out on friday. Finally this Monday he said that he had shipped it out, but did not provide me with any shipping info, so i called the shipping company and they did not have any record of any shipment in my name. i filled out a dispute on paypal yesterday and then escalated it into a claim today after calling the shipping company. I sent an email, yesterday, to the address which i have sent the payment to and the guy told me that he was not selling any transmission, which meant that either the guy is telling me the truth and his account was stolen, or its the original guy covering his *** and saying that his account must have been used illegally. Long story short, i'm pissed off and i hope i will get my money back, i spent $225 and i need it back

UPDATE:PayPal ruled in my favor, but they only gave back $13.80 of the $225.00 owed to me. Due to some loopholes in their policies, they will not give me any more money back. I would advise everyone to be very cautious of buying from anyone. The seller in my case was PayPal verified and everything looked fine, the only thing which was out of the ordinary was that he was using a shipping company which was not very well known. Please learn from "my mistake"
