  T25 Capabilities?

Well i was reading some of the sr stickies, and the one says that the t25 should not be ran on 14 or higher psi, but my question is that why can all the dsm owners run 15+ psi safetly on a garret t25 that they come with stock? Or is it not the sr turbo that limits psi, maybe the stock fuel system? I'm just curious.

As a guy that has blown 2 T25's, I can tell you that 15 psi will blow T25's all day. They may have rebuilt the oil seals and all to run that high but I don't know why you'd want to as charge temps get crazy at that pressure. Stay around 12 to be most efficient. After that, your asking for trouble.

my t25 is still good I put less than 20k in about 10 months since running. 7 months 14k miles at 7 psi, 1 week with 12 psi and 3 month with 15 psi about 4k miles. I originally set my manual boost controller to 12 psi. but With boost cooler ( walmart .94 cent washer fluid) it increases the boost to 15 psi. I've been running this set up for 3 months and get on it pretty often I would say a good 1-2 miles total a Day and put about 300-400 miles a week. I do have ss line and my turbo timer is set to automatic. (15 miles drive on the high way 75 mph crusing speed = 4 mins count down. )

However everybody I know that ran 15 psi on thier t25 blown thier turbo in one month.

This windshield washer thing how did you do it? did you just use your windshield sprayers to spray water on it? did you feel a difference? I was drifting yesterday and my intercooler was extremely hot would this help cool it.

Boost cooler water/meth kit stage 2.

Power band is slightly stronger above 5k since it holds full boost till redline.
I can make more power if I have a chip ecu and tune for more advance timing. For now on stock timing base with safc neo tune at 11.8 afr

My timing is a bit advanced and I have a EBC (Greddy Profec B Spec II). I ran 15 psi one night (twice) and have blown 2 T25's. I now have a HKS GT2540 and can run up to 18 psi safely. My SR is ticking now, and I plan on taking it to a shop tommorow (I have only run 10psi). Anyway, I would ony run 12 psi on a T25... it's just silly after that.

It's not that the t25 can't handle slightly above 14psi but it put it WAY out of its effecientcy<sp> range....after 14psi it increases the outlet are temps so much that you will more then likely slightly increase torque but your hp will stay the same......

now if you try to run 20psi that is a whole diff. story. BOOM, SCREEEEEECH!!!!
