Anyone have/seen one of these rear mats in BLACK and in very good shape that they don't want? I'd like to replace the two separate ones in my '93 with this later style.

Thanks!

It's not a later model thing as my 93 had the one piece carpet. I think it's a t thing versus a non-t thing.

(My 94 has the one piece also.)

My "t" model has a one piece rear just like the non "t" models. I think my front ones have "J30t" embroidered on them in gold stitching-I have a gold package model. The Infiniti logo on the rear mat is gold also instead of silver.

Thank you for all of feedback and keep me in mind when you are searching for other parts.

Our '93 t was actually made in '92 (it has silver embroidered black front mats and two plain small separate black rear mats) and there's no telling what happens with the mats that were in them. Of the eight to 10 J30s I've seen in the local pick 'n' pulls over the years, I've seen only one black interior and virtually zero mats of any color.

Unlike most cars, I figure mats of all things must have been standard equipment on J30s. Where do they all go; do they not do well in the colder and wetter states, especially the tan color mats? Rear mats shouldn't see nearly as much use.

I think I'm one of maybe 3 owners since I've been on this board, who has a J with a black interior. Most J interiors are either tan or grey.

So you are another very fortunate one.

I always thought that a deep green car with a reddish tan interior would have been "classic", but I've seen too many funky old green (and silver) paint jobs and black is the easy cleanest looking interior color. The light tan color just looks old and dirty as it ages. Black is a little hot at times and maybe the leather hardens faster, but a white exterior helps a bit.

It's looking like I'll need to contact the family. There's sure not much information on their website.

Thanks!
