Called two local dealerships and received two different prices for rotors and pads all waaay to high.

Checked out parts.com, drivewire.com, and everythinginfiniti.com/infinitipartsusa.com and all had good prices.

Everythinginfiniti in Arizona said their parts are OEM and cheaper when I called than on their website. Wohoo.

Can't verify if parts.com is OEM or not, and never used drivewire.com either, but they say OEM parts.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Joe and his crew are the best in service and OEM prices.

We highly recommend http://www.everythinginfiniti.com! - same site as what Brian (maxnix) linked above. They are the parts department for Scottsdale Infiniti and sell OEM Nissan and Infiniti parts.

Joe Tsensky has always helped us NICO members. Great prices, great service, etc. They have the parts, and the resources to tell you the exact part numbers, what else you may need, etc.

Which is not to say that the occasional and rare problems do not occur, but Joe and his team are extremely helpful in fixing those that do happen.

For example, I once received a short order - had ordered a bunch of stuff for my Q45, including both front links. One link was not in the order ... I gave them a call and they DHL Expressed the part to me overnight - at their cost.

I too have done a few deals with him over the years and nothing but great service!you should feel comfortable that he will service you well; prices were very fair - but as always, feel free to check around, if you do find a little extra cost - consider the fact that everythinginfiniti.com has an excellent reputation here... they work hard for it, and a few bucks (if it comes to that) is worth it...

What do you guys recommend for doing a service such as:

1: Fuel Induction Service (Infiniti dealer said I have carbon buildup and they want to charge $150)

2: Brake fluid (Infiniti dealer wants to charge $165)

also I should note that I only have 23,000 miles...is this normal?

I ordered my AP Racing big brake kit from stillen.com, I know they have pads and rotors that are pretty close to stock but give better stopping power, you could also try http://www.brakeworld.com. I ordered Italia rotors and pads from there about 6 months ago for my Wifes Lexus, I got 4 slotted and crossed drilled rotors, and front and rear kevlar performance pads all for 950.00 shipped and they look amazing on the car....a little pricey but it made a world of difference in stopping power and looks....I know they carry OEM products too and there really great people and know there stuff....hope that helps a little

Sounds to me like the dealer is trying to make a few extra dollars at youir expense.Carbon buildup @ 23K? Do it yourself bu running a fuel injector cleaner in your gas tank.

As for brake fluid being dirty, sure that happens. You could buy a motive power bleeder and 1 quart of DOT3 and bleed the brakes yourself for less than HALF what they want to charge.

How many miles did you have on the rotors?I have some warping at only 19K. That has me considering another brand of rotor.

That is extremely low miles for rotors to warp at. Before you change them out, I would suggest rebalancing your wheels/tires at a good shop ... and see if the problem persists.

If you tires are worn, then change them first as well.
