Lightweight flywheel myth, fact or fiction?

Hey guys, I've been wondering about this myth going around that if you have a lightweight flywheel in your car, it is nearly impossible to clutch kick. Reason I'm asking is because I had one of those F1 racing lightweight flywheels on my 89 nissan 240sx and I couldn't pull it off. There are a bunch of factors that go into this myth like how much hp/torque you have, what kind of clutch you're running, etc, etc. I have a bone stock ka24e and was able to clutch kick and stuff with the OEM clutch set up. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys!

clutchkicking is the same with or without a lightweight flywheel. sounds like your clutch is on its way out.

Thanks! I came across it a couple of times in this forum and I also heard some guys talking about it at a garage here in socal.

it makes a difference in rotating mass but with a good clutch it will still work just fine.
