at the track, id worry.

simple upgrade if your up for it is swap to Z32 axles, you would need to also replace your outdrives but its worth the swap

You will be fine at your power level. The stockers get a little sketchy around 450whp or so. As long as you dont have wheel hop problems you're good.

450whp are you friggin nuts dude. ive broken em at 250..... wheel hop is the enemy and since he's still IRS like most of us, its a problem....
the higher power you have the more the risk, but if he really wants to be safe, he will do exactly as i stated, ive not had a problem ever since.

Yeah actually I am nuts but thats beside the point

Just because we have IRS doesnt mean you're automatically gonna have wheel hop problems. Plenty of ways to fix it.

I never had problems with stock 6 bolt axles until 420whp. The same goes for the 2 other 400+hp 240's in my area.

If you're breaking them at a weak 250hp you got some issues.

just because youve seen 3 cars not have issues doesnt mean anything. look at what they do with their car. On the street 9 times out of 10 your not gonna wheel hop. Go put those cars on a prepped drag strip or put some sort of sticky tires on them at a road course. Youll wheelhop in breaking at a road course sometimes too. i personally do not have wheelhop. My cars sitting on jackstands LMFAO but it does have solid subframe spacers. And that helps alot too, but ill never break an axle the way im set, mark my word.

Lets see, one ran 11.5, another 11.7 and the other 11.9. The cars Im speaking of drag race ONLY. As far as tires, ET streets and ET street radials. 60's range from 1.5's to 1.7's.

whatever, argue it all you want. When he breaks an axle i hope he comes yelling at you better to overbuild it and never need it than under build it and suck up a 300$ tow bill home

you would have to disassemble your S13 chunk, actually be better to get a complete Z32 VLSD imho.

I have Approx 320WHP, and I ran 14 track passes on Stock 18 year old axles with a welded Diff before I broke not 1 but Both of them at once on a Launch, No wheel Hop, Just Snapped the ends right off them. I bought an Aftermarket set Stock, and have been 17 passes with no problems so far, BUT, I have not had good traction either, only cutting 1.7-1.8 60', I should be in the 1.5's with stickier tires.

I broke mine on a set of MT Et streets, 26x11.5x17's, I think with a MT 26x8.5 you won't break them as long as you don't do a 6,000 RPM clutch drop. It is all in how you launch the car. I personally was launching at 6400RPM's when I broke them, I have installed a 2 step since then and now leave at 5500RPM, and have not had any issues, I think you will be fine on your stock ones tho.

Propane=6's on the way!!

z32 axles are all the same. as are the differentials. The only difference is the gear ratios
