Versa Intake Manifolds in Production

The new fabricated intake manifolds for the Nissan Versa are now in production. The first production run will be 25 manifolds-ready in 3 weeks time. The intakes will sell for $699 and include all the mounting hardware, vacuum and water lines as well as couplers, clamps and an intake tube to connect the new intake manifold to the factory air box. The new intake will also work with the AEM and other CAI systems. Dyno testing showed that the power increased from 111 hp to 125 hp (at the wheels) without any loss elsewhere in the rev range. Full instructions are included with the kit as well.

tru that... $700 thats a nice hole in my pocket. then again i only have 11k miles on my V and i don't exactly wanna void the warranty this early in the game... dynatek,you wouldn't of happend to recorded a vid of the manifold on the dyno would you? or other pix w. the manifold installed in the car?

This counts as a bolt on, which I believe won't void the warranty.

Guaranteed to void warranty on engine. Its a 'bolt on', but its not made by Nissan, so there's no way if your engine screws up that they will not blame the intake mani.

Looks good though.

Just be very sneaky like and take it off and put all your stock stuff back on before taking it to the dealership if you have a problem....... and remember not to take it to the dealer for oil changes.

i know this is a lame question, but is there any way to put the nissan cover over the manifold? you know incase you get pulled over by the man, and he starts to snoop around your engine bay.... not a big fan of fix-it tickets or getting pulled over, i think once they see the versaspeed decal theyre gonna wanna pop the hood....

Just paint the intake manifold and throw a nissan decal on it.... unless the porker works for Nissan I doubt hell care, and I dont know what neck of the woods your in, but in Ga the cops could care less what youve got under the hood unless it smells like a Cypress Hill concert...

i live in southern cali, and alot of the highway patrol officers carry a book with pictures.... and they flip through theyre pages and look at what they think matches the picture, and then the citations start the flowing....

i wouldnt know, i dont do that sorta thing anymore... but i think they can get you for DWI, driving while intoxicated... i think its less severe than DUI....

Cops....whats the point? They dont let us drive fast, and they give people tickets for having nice cars...
