Check your clearance first.

Depending on the the size of the turbo and what car it is fitted in, you may run into problems with clearance from the strut tower.

I don't think those adapter boxes work too great. Not much of a collector there now.

Not sure how big your turbo is, but my t3/t04 e definitley would not fit with that installed. Despite it being not so ideal, It would control boost fine there likely. Thats basically where mine is.

looks like the input and output flanges are parallel, you need them angle abit so the turbo won't hit anything.

this is what i'm talking about when i said the inlet and outlet flange need to be angled. to clear the car's frame.

i had made some of these in the past for some rb fellows using their stock manifold with external gate (and/or) aftermarket turbo.

what size exhaust housing are you running on the 60-1, and is it t3 or t4 input flange ?? it will be pretty tight with that size turbo.

Yup, I had one just like the one boostfab posted up on my old RB20. Worked like a charm.

the stock manifold and adapter is alright for a t3 upgrade to external gate.

A full aftermarket manifold is ideal for performance conscience minds with large turbo upgrade, and for those that want to dish out the $. =)

Hey I'm interested in the adapter that you made. Can you give me a quote on one for a t3/t4 .48 A/R 50 Trim T04E that is. Also wastegate 40mm. Does the wastegate have to be that high as well and that would cause a long pipe to downpipe or can you angle it down? I don't want to vent to atmosphere.

Instead of using an adapter... why not have it done this way?

^^ is for sale in the FS thread in this forum section. Saw it the other day and thought it might have some bearing...

The format above is what I'll be doing when its time for an ewg on a budget format.
