Mine is about the same but since reading that fuel in the tank prevents the fuel pump from overheating, I fill up at the 1/4 mark. Why chance a fuel pump failure from overheating or at the worse running out of gas.mrsmithGrider wrote:Yes it is a 20 gallon tank on all G35/G37 regardless of the year. My fuel light comes on with about 3.5 to 4 gallons of gas still in the tank. I would say that about normal. I have always taken my car to the dealership for oil changes and other maintenance stuff and whenever they give me a G loaner this seems to still be the case.
You might have to have infiniti fix that thing in the gas tank that never lets you fill the tank all the way...Brabusx2 wrote:yea... i got same question too, my car is used so i don' t know how bad the last owner abused it because is so not accurate.. when the needle almost reach very bottom i got too scared so i fill it up.
