Anyone interested in testing this.... 50 HP and +3 mpg for 70 bucks.

It's available for the G37 too.

The kit comes with 2 quick connects and 2 butt connectors. This implies it only attaches 4 wires to the car. I can't imagine it would be able to account for all the different parameters that a modern ECU does...

Basic economics wouldn't allow for a mod to add 50hp and 3mpg at the same time while only costing less than 70 bucks....if it could do all those things it would be at least 2k.

Indeed they are... they just trick your ECU into thinking that it's a certain temperature (56 degrees??? ) and also usually overides humidity info. Please do not quote me as I am not familiar with these particular chips.

I am currently running 3 wired in series! 150 HP OMG

I'd guess you may have a 5 or 10 hp gain but not worth the risk IMO

So what I get from this thread is that everybody has ordered one but nobody wants to admit it. I got yur numbers here guys...

I know a guy whose sister's husband's best friend's brother's ex-wife's cousin 2nd removed tested it and his Nissan Versa ran the quarter mile in something like 11 flat at 117 mph.

The only way to get a Versa that fast is to drop it off a cliff...

You almost had me. If it weren't for the low MPH , I would have thought it to be true.

But they guarantee the claims, so it must be true!!!

I think optimum air temperature is around 76 degrees.

Wow.... just pour bleach in your motor oil. It adds 25 hp.

My experience is that you can move the decimal point to the left on space on a manufacturer's claim, to get the true gain. In this case, it's probably two or three spaces.

I would highly doubt that chip would work, probably fake if anything, consider the other chips for other cars that range in the hundreds and don't come close to giving it 50hp, maybe it tt or something..

It's been a while, so HI to everyone =)
