I'm a new member and have never owned a Z but I'm getting close. I'm trying to decide between an 07 Enthusiast with 4K miles which has a rebuilt title due to having interior stolen and replaced and an 03 Touring with 52 K milies. The interior of the 07 still needs a lot of work due to obviouse seat covers, numerous stains on panelling, and parts replaced with cheaper ones (like aluminum pedals and auto dimming mirror replaced with base ones). Both cars are going to sell for right at my budget of $15K. What do you all recommend?

I'd suggest running away from that 07 Z as fast as you can. There is no way a car was totaled for a stolen interior. $15k is suspiciously low.

i paid 16 for 05 30K miles. If I were you, I would just keep looking. I found a perfect deal, don't buy if you have doubts!

Yes wheelman says it right. Run far from that 07. There is no way that car just got its interior stolen, or maybe it got stolen then they parked the car in a lake. Dont buy that one keep looking. Good question.

What ever links you to the 07, be it internet or newspaper, destroy it/delete it..... I wouldn't even waste your time with that one. You don't really know what could have happened to the car....

There are plenty of 03-05's out there in the $15-$17000 range. Most of it depends on miles, but you can find them anywhere. There's actually a good deal here where i live, but depending on where you are it could be to far for you.

If you need any help, let me know.

I agree! With that price for that '07 model, that car might be stolen or used for an illegal operation or something. I suggest you just keep looking and you'll end up finding your own Z soon.

walk away from the 07, even if the deal is legit stay away from the rebuilts, you'll have a heck of a time selling them later and you never really knw what issues will pop up

BTW, I have a bud that works at a body shop, they had a customer come in after someone hit their car, tey found the chassis vin was different formm the registration and dor vin, turns out they got a killer deal on a stolen car and are now making payments on a car they no longer have
