Just checked on mine and I can see a slice of the rear bumper. I can't remember whether this was always the case or not.

Since some owners have reported that they don't see the rear bumper (and by implication, they're getting better rear visibility from the camera), I wonder if the mount can be shimmed or something?

Anyone else?

TIA,
David

I can see a sliver of bumper...I actually like it. It helps in parking parallel on tight SF streets. I can really inch back to the car behind me without hitting it nor feeling paranoid I will.

I too can see a sliver of the rear bumber. It is not parallel with the camera, it is actually angled almost like a slice of pizza. And now I also wonder "has it always been like that?".

But I also agree that it could be useful to see how close you are to something when backing up..................but then again when the beeper stop beeping and goes to a solid beep I shouldn't need a camera view to tell me I am about to hit something.
