To find the chair you pictured on CL just search for "leather chair ottoman". It's hard to narrow it down more than that. You can throw the term "Eames" in there; some people incorrectly use the term for that chair. You can find those chairs for less than a couple hundred bucks if you live in a big city.
There are many quality fakes of the Eames lounge chair (pictured above) which sell for $150 - $600 depending on maker and condition. Real Eames lounge chairs go for $1500 - $6000 depending on year, finish, and condition. I would suggest getting one of the fake Eames which was made by Plycraft.
You can also find furniture on Ebay and restrict your search to within your local area. Win the auction, then go pick it up.
If you find a chair that has dinged up wood, rub it with a mixture of 2/3 olive oil and 1/3 lemon juice. If the chrome is hazy or somewhat pitted, use Mother's Mag Polish on it. If the leather/vinyl is cracked or dry, use "Aussie Leather Conditioner" on it. I've brought several of these chairs back from the dead using these techniques.
Currently, I have a matching set of 2 of the fake Eames chairs and a real Knoll Platner coffee table (
http://www.allmodern.com/asp/s...L1011 ) in my living room. I found them all at garage sales: $75 each for the chairs, $80 for the table.
Edit: Forgot I had a pic of my chairs in my photobucket. I moved these across the city in my 240SX vert with the top down.
