With some couplers and clamps and a willingness to cut up the pipes if you need to, it's cake.

Most bottom-mount T2 manifolds try to put the turbo near where the SR piping works from what I've seen, but I have no first hand experience with this.

I use the same cold pipe on my KA-T as the SR20 from FMIC to throttle body, it just requires a coupler.

YES it works. i have sr hks hotpipe/ssqv combo and bolts right into my sr greddy type-m FMIC. didnt need hump hose couplers but recommend it, some ebay sr FMIC might be a little off so hump hose will save you on that. And if you use the sr FMIC you would need a longer coupler for the coldpipe to throttle body.

Personally, I just bolted the filter right onto the MAF.

same here i used a buddies 1 peace SR cold pipe and it fit right up to the TB with no issues... now the Ebay kit didnt really do much for me.. cold side i didnt use cuz we had a 1 peace i could use... hot side only peace i used (didnt have to cut) was the 90 that came right off of the intercooler.. rest we had laying arround and had to make it ourselves.. when we fit the ebay kit to the car it didnt even come close to the turbo..

I think you're thinking about the distance of the MAF from the turbo. It should be 14-18 inches away. I need to do this...it does cause problems IMO.

As for it bolting on, it depends on what filter you buy and what MAF you're running. Just buy the right one and it should bolt up.

Yes. If you use a T25 it'll bolt right up if you use those bottom mount KA T25 manifolds that are sold everywhere.

If you use a T28, your options are the t28 reclocking adapters or the greddy suction kit if you have z32 maf
