I test drove one M35 and the drivers seat got so cold i had to turn it down. I bought a different one and it just barely cools me down. It is about 10-15 degrees hotter outside now than that first drive. This normal as the temp goes up, or could a new seat filter help? Any ideas?
My mechanic told me that the seat filters don't really need be changed at least for 50k to 60k miles under moderate use.. so I doubt thats your problem. It could just be perception. They also take a few minutes to get to their cool temperatures.
I have noticed the temp of my seats is directly tied to the climate control temp in the cabin. For example, if my climate control is off in the cabin then the seats (even on max cold) do not cool much if at all. I think the blower is tied to the blower of the climate control.
