So I put some more work in on this translation and finished up the rest of the prologue and the first chapter (birth of the skyline). I went ahead and put the link down below to the directory with all the pages so far. The pages with just numbers are the original Japanese versions and the ones with "_e" in the name are the English translated version. It has something like 50 pages or so. Anyway, please enjoy the first chapter and let me know how you like it so far. Check it out!

>Late last year (December I think) back when the new GTR was fresh on the scene in Tokyo and the Tokyo Motor Show was hot in everyones memory, I stopped by my local convenience store and saw this manga devoted to the GTR. I bought it and started reading through it and was thrilled at what I found. The 260-page manga was a detailed account of the GTR's history in both motorsports and nissan in a fun comic format. The comic, from my guess, was made specifically for showcasing and educating people on the history behind the new GTR. The story surrounds this young kid who just got his license and inherited his older brother's crappy S15 Silvia (what a jerk!) and went for his first roadtrip to Hakone and gets lost. While he's sitting, an old Hakosuka GTR rolls by and he follows it to a cafe to ask directions and the old man who owns the place (and the hakosuka) ends up sitting and teaching the entire history of the GTR to him after giving him a quick testdrive in the Hakosuka.

Good read. Thanks.

I always wonder what it be like to experience the Japanese culture, I used to watch anime when I was little, and I am quite fluent on their expressions while they speak, however I only know very few words. I grew up with my grandma always visiting the asian markets near SFO, California. She spent sometime in Japan after WWII. Also enjoyed your portal/blog.. but seems not up to date.

I however did experience Thailand's culture, I been there four times now, a month each time. But I am not proffient in reading or speaking the language either.
