240sx Drivetrain Knocking and Scraping sound

95 240sx manual transA very concerning sound has appeared, seems to be from the front side of the trans maybe in the clutch area but im not entirely sure. It comes and goes rapidly and seems to almost fully dissapear when i put the clutch pedal all the way in. im assuming something is amiss in the clutch but want to ask before i have to drop the transmission. does anyone have any ideas or know if this is a common issue? im only mildly skilled mechanic at best so if theres an obvious peice of info i left out let me know

Check the pilot bushing and the throwout bearing. The only way to check them correctly is to pull the transmission off and inspect them.

thats about what i figured but wanted to make sure before i droped the trans ty for the response

mine does the same thing noise comes back every now and then I'm not worried about it but its a forsure fix soon enough.
