For once... a sequel is actually BETTER than the original!NICONick wrote:I also thought it was great. Heath Ledger's performance was absolutely out of this world. For him to become a character like that is truly brilliant. I thought they were going to kill the Joker in this film, but didn't. This series has taken a great turn.
Anyone hear rumors or anything of what the next one is going to be about?
Overall, really happy with the film, stood up to the hype!
Honesltly, I am saddened that Heath could not be here to see what a masterful job he has done.

thanks for spoiling it.....ADDirishboy wrote:That movie was absolutely brilliant. Amazing direction all around. The only thing I don't like is that the joker is still alive, but Heath is dead.....
Are they gonna do the same thing they did with the chick and just randomly throw in another actor? Or just kinda ditch the Joker?
yeah.JustinStrife wrote:Some people don't know how to keep from spoiling parts of movies apparently.
Thanks clowns.
Alot of people arent aware of anything in the Batman world that they didnt see in Batman Begins hah.VMPhil wrote:seeing how i already knew most of the plot and seen pics of Harvey Dent before the movie hit i wasnt spoiled at all. i cant wait to see it.
How could they have killed the Joker in this film when the time period of the Dark Knight predates the original Batman in which the Joker appears?snwbrdr435 wrote:I read a review a few months ago where they cut out the scene where the joker dies because some people in the audience couldnt handle it

It's called a retconn. Sort of like what Episodes II & III did with Boba Fett. The poster above me sums it up well.NY94J30 wrote:

Interesting, I didn't pick up on that, it's been years since I've seen the first. I had thought the two new installments were meant to be consistent with the first four.hatchback240 wrote:christopher nolan's batman series isnt cannon with the other batman movies, that should have been most evident in this movie. the original batman movie was the first meeting of batman and the joker too, but if they had stuck to the same story line it would have been a remake then wouldnt it? nolan is taking the series in a more realistic approach, where speilburg just went for the straight out of cartoon feel.
