Welcome! I suggest joining the SCCA and doing some SOLOS and just hang around and you'll learn alot! SOLOS and races are perfect places to do some networking and meet new people. In the racing industry it's all about who you know....oh, and $$$ and more $.

i know my good friend dave, i just have to get my money right im still in school and stuff i just tuned everything els out this summer and worked for the car you know and its hard durring the school year bbecause i get less hours which means llittle ppay lol but ill figure somthin out its crazy because while i was writing i was thinking about the SCCA thing

+1 for joining the SCCA. They routinely have events at the Nassau Coliseum, so it would be a fairly short drive for you, and solo is ALOT of fun.
