check this **** out man i leave texas for a family reuion. in missippi im gone for 2weeks i get back home and my car is gone ididnt leave any keys so nobody i know has it.then my neiboor comes over and sez that my land lord had it towed a week ago.they leave no paper no number. i call my landlord and he's yelling at me for leaving and not telling him i was going. he doesnt know the name of the towing company no number just a page out of the phone book he called then this mofo said to me im happy its gone now i dont have to listen to that pos any more and i hit him hard right in the mouth so i go to jail just got out this morning on a pr bond to find out he has a order of evection so now i got 30 days to move, no car but at least still got my job. man life sucks !!!!!!!!!!

Real simple...call a lawyer. He can't have your car towed for no reason. He can't evict you for no reason.

judging by your own description of your car, i would call it a p.o.s. myself. you don't have to inform your landlord that you were going anywhere for a short period of time. i'm guessing that you didn't leave your car where it would be out of his way.

It sucks that your car was taken, and it sucks that the person who took it is obviously an A55hole, but its usually the less intelligent person who throws the first punch. Yup anger and frustration are bad things, but that punch could put you in a worse situation than him having your car towed.

I'm assuming you have a court date and if they follow through on an assault charge that will follow you for the rest of your life. And he gets a fine... maybe.

I would just say, now that you have cooled off a little, you need to get an attorney and commit to doing the smart thing not the easiest.
