CA18DET power steering HELP!

Does anyone know where I can get a "gear housing tube" for my power steering? The car is an S13 with CA18DET (factory euro-spec, LHD 200SX) The part number at a German Nissan dealer is 49542, but they can't get the part anytime soon.

If not, does anyone know if this is a line that can be simply fabricated and bent out of some piping?

Go to any hydrolic shop an get them to make something for you. Just bring the old peice with you and they should be able to make it perfectly.

That is also part of the steering rack itself, so if you have to, you can swap out the entire rack.

if its LHD i have a buddy who works at ni9ssan, lemme know what the shop says and if need be i can just buy it and ship it to u...

Thanks for the input. I might take you up on that offer if I can't find a shop that can make one for me next week (kinda have to dig where I am).
