  Computer cases.

Alright guys, it's about that time again. Time to build another computer. I've been looking for nice cases and do not care if it has a clear side or not, however, a front LCD screen displaying temperatures is nice!

http://www.tigerdirect.com/app...=1520

This one has a single LCD temp display, along with a fan controller on the front. I don't know if I can scroll through and view multiple temps at the same time though.

I would like to be able to monitor CPU, Vid card, and case (air) temp simultaneously. I also like the idea of manually controlling my fans, but it's not needed since the computer usually handles that automatically.

Any idea's?

*edit*
Well it will also function as an HTPC, so noise is of the utmost importance. I may have to forget about the temp display and only focus on sound deadening/prevention.

If that car were a person, I'm pretty sure it would be giving head in a truck stop restroom.

dude if you want manual fan control i suggest two options.
tech way- get a 680i nividia chipset or up and they have options in a program to control fan speeds.
brute force/ easy way- buy fan or cooling system with manual fan speed controllers.I suggest thermaltake stuff, but then again im biased cause they make amazing ****.
( i have both and the second way i usually use more)
also as far as the diff temps. if you do water cooling you can run three temp sensors in diff line locations to get there temps or i think u can buy ambiant heat things and wirethem all together. just look for a multi channel display.
ps any case will easily suffice for either options.

Are you talking to me?

I have the NZXT Tempest. I compared it side by side with the Antec 900.

The Tempest is wider, and has more front to back room. Which is great for putting in full length video cards.

Yeah, I gave up on trying to find a case with the thermometers ect. I'll just get a quiet case and add in one of those. I saw one I really liked by Enermax.

NO no no, im talking about the case he posted from tiger. The Tempest looks to a solid case. But ive never seen one to know.

The one he posted looks nice but in person it was disappointing.

Depends on what it is. For instance, if I built a machine that is normally $750 normal costs, I would save $100-$150 in discounts, making my costs $600-$650 in parts.

It really depends on what it is. Sometimes they have hella deals that I wont get anything except cheaper shipping. Most times though its pretty good, I normally can tell my customer what their price is on the site and make 10-15% profit from the discount.

Right now, its Me, and I hired my mother and sometimes my GF. GF helps with the repairs, My mother is my Billing manager.
I have 12 computer stations setup for repairs, and I have 5 different custom pc models. KenCom Simplex, Kicker, Smasher, Ultimate, and all but simplex can be made into a Gaming machine.

I also do some ethernet wiring for Traffic sensors in the malls. They are high tech now. The traffic sensors that count customers, sends a signal to the hub in the back of the store, calculates totals, and then sends the data to corporate. I do a lot of traveling with that which ive hired some contractors to help me with.

Im looking to expand, but its been hard to get banks to give a 22 year old a 80k-150k business loan. I feel I have a rock solid business plan too.

What about you?
