Newbie w/ Nav question

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, but I've visited the site numerous times and have found it quite helpful. I finally pulled the trigger on an '08 M45 w/ tech and sport pkg. I'll try to post pics next week after my short trip to Napa. What can I say... it's an awesome machine. However, I was wondering if there is any way of doing away with the voice prompts. I find it kind of lame having to wait to be prompted to speak. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to NICO!

I have not looked at this issue per se, since I do not have voice prompts in my older model. But ... have you looked in the Owner's Manual for the info?

This is a configurable option under Settings --> Navigation

Great car...you will enjoy it.
