well if im wrong, im sorry i was just wondering t25 is the smallest, t3 are about the same size so which is better on a stock engine to turbo i mean doesnt a t25 have less lag?
i did a bit i mean my friend has a conquest with a t3/t4 i was just wondering cuz his has a lot of lag
HE said do some research because there are a lot of factors that play into turbo selecion. The only reason anyone ever uses a T25 is because the manifold that matches that style is only $60. But the T25 is far to small. Yes it's going to have no lag, but it's not going to make near the power that a properly sized turbo will.
The end goal for power also needs to be considered.
In short figure out what YOU want, then read through the stickies at the top of the page. After which you can come in here and ask informed questions.

my t25 kicks in pretty early around 2.5 and i feel like i have vtec around 6k rpm. LOL weird never did wonder why, could it be timing? maybe bad turbo. but who cares my car is gettting at least a t2871r reall soon. hope to make 400whp....the sr's can do it so i think its even easier for us.
Like everyone is saying, it really depends on what you really want from the car. If you want to autocross and such without much power, many swear by the SR T25.
You also need to consider a turbo's effeciency. T25s from SRs really become heat pumps at higher boost levels.
