Detonation causes the main force to be applied to the sides of the bearings instead of the top and bottom allowing for a better chance of bearing failure.themadscientist wrote:how the hell would timing make you spin a bearing? The rings I can buy but a spun bearing is an oil delivery and/or RPM induced failure.
Unfortunately, I won't be putting in another CA. Thanks for your concern, I will be trying the SR20 route. How does 85usd shipped sound?Indecisive wrote:sad to see/hear that man..
are you gonna be putting another ca18det back in there? I guess not since you're parting it all.
I call dibbs on the ECU. Wll you do $70usd shipped to Canada? If so, what's your paypal? I'll send you money right away.
p/s pump and bracket has already been called for. I'm selling the intake and exhaust valve covers as a pair. How does 45 for the pair, plus shipping since you're out of state. For the harness, I cut the three plugs that you splice into. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I can send you a picture.psilocyben wrote: I would like the exhaust side valve cover and the p/s pump and bracket.Where is the harness cut?
How about 55 plus shipping for OEM starter?slo wrote:Dibs on the starter
Yes, I do. If I'm not mistaken, it's 5 1/2" tall, 3" thick, 27" long, 2 1/2 " inlets.drifting circles wrote:Do you have a fmic??
Intake manifold has every single stock component on it. Do you want it as a complete with all of the sensors (i.e. iacv, fast idle, etc..)?chausaster wrote:How much for intake manifold? does it still have the actuators and such for the secondary butterflies?
Thank you.articzap wrote:

Yes, I do. 25usd plus shipping for both (with bolts).HighwayStar22 wrote:Have the motor mount brackets that bolt to the block?

Sorry gonna have to pass thats way too much.drfts12 wrote:

The connecting rod is under pressure at all angles during the power stroke and no undue bearing wear results. It takes a collapse of the oil film and contact between the bearing and crank to spin a bering and that is RPM or oil delivery based. I have seen many a melted piston, a couple of my own unfortunately and never seen bearing damage to go with.articzap wrote:

Tell me what you want.The_Chosen_One wrote:

Throw me an offer, I'll just give you the whole thing complete.chausaster wrote:I'm just looking for the intake manifold itself really. Don't need the sensors the only thing I'm really asking to have on there is the actuator and such for the secondary butterflies. how much you asking for it? oh yeah and dibs

I'm looking to get at least 125 for the harness.psilocyben wrote: Yeah 45 for the valve covers sounds fair to me. And what do you want for the harness. Do you have a paypal?
Can you send me pics of the harness and where it's cut? I need a harness. Does the harness include the dropping resistor? Send them to limitbreak22 /at/ tmail /dot/ com If purchased, is this a plug in affair, or am I going to hack it up to get it in my S13? Thank you very much!
Around another 20 bucks, but I'll be giving you the secondaries along with it...chausaster wrote:how much would it be to ship to 84321?
Those are the 3 plugs i cut. Regardless you'll have to cut those sooner or later to swap. Yes it does include the dropping resistor. It's not a plug and play harness because I cut the plugs off... you just have to simply match a few wires up. There are less than 10 wires you gotta splice together.HighwayStar22 wrote:

70 + s/h for the alternator and bracket sounds good. Picture of where I cut the harness is right above... It's currently still in my s12 right now, so no pics of the full harness. But its a normal harness, no mods or anything whatsoever to it.Hmgbobby wrote:70 for the alternator and bracket and interested in the wiring harness also email me at [email protected] asap want to get my car running before summers over thanks
Ahh, i threw away the a/c and bracket, sorry. Starter is 55 plus shipping. Throw me an offer for head, everything is still complete and intact. Haven't touched the motor yet after I pulled it.DALAZ_68 wrote:any chance u have the A/C pump and bracket...? with bolts
how much for the head...and starter
