92 maxima part question for rb20

A ignitor off a 1992 nissan maxmia will work on an rb20det with re-wiring and re-pinning, correct?

Dunno but grab a J30 or Z32 ignitor!!!There's a write up for it in the Stickies.I picked up a J30 unit for like 10 bucks 2 weeks a go.

yeah but its a VG30 maxima i took it off.

aren't they same thing to j30 and z32

Umm.... well now that you say that....I guess it should be similar.

See if you can find the FSM for the 92 Maxi.

Does it look the same?There should be some markings for each pin.See if they match up against the pics in the sticky.

sil240 this is what i got off a 92 nissan maxima.. it looks the same as j30 and z32 one.



I just wanna make sure this the one i need.. I got it out of the junkyard.

I can't tell if your ignitor matches my J30 one cause the pic is really blurry.

yeah it looks to be the same. mine has all the e1 e2 e3 e4 and so on

and 1 1 1 2 13 and so on.
