Hesistation at 60mph

Well for my brothers s14, around 50-60mph at around 3k it starts to jump to 3k to 2k very fast, a jerky motion then CEL is on i tried to get into his ECU but i couldnt flip it around, totally different from a s13. Well it only happens on freeway he states it jerks so much and it happens so fast its been like that for awhile. Any ideas?

95 s14 KA24DE with 130k milage i believe.

Take it to AZ and have them pull the code for you. I have a few ideas on what it could be but I would need the code to confirm my suspicions.
