I am working on fabricating some brackets to put ITB's on my '94 VH45DE, working on it today, I noticed a few things. I know that the runners are different lenghts (well 2 different lenghts). Anyways the runners for cylinders 1,2,7&8 all are the shorter while 3,4,5&6 are the longer runners. However, if you rearrange them so that you are using 2 sets of the shorter runners (1,2,7&8), arranged as described below with a little trimming of unnecessary bracketry, you end up with 4 equal lenght intake runners PERFECTLY level and inline with eachother on each side.Cylinder #: Runner #:1 13 25 8 7 7 2 2 4 1 6 7 8 8
With NO modification the OEM fuel rail will fit and 2 of the holes line up perfectly. The other two bolts can be made to fit with very very little modification. I have been looking at throttle bodies from GSX-R's and Hyabusas and other **** and they all seem to have the injectors going directly into the throttle body, but there is also the previously stated provisions on the intake runners for the injectors and rail. Has anybody else tried this?? If so what throttlebodies did you use anybody have anything to say at all?
