6al install in my dohc ka s13 is a little confusing now. i first installed it the way the diagram on ka-t.org has it and i blew the ignition fuse link. thought it was just a bad ground but i redid all the wiring and put a new one in and it didnt immediately pop but after about 10 secs of trying to crank it did. so i did some searching but now in some other articles ive dug up in searching some people say to not even tap into the ignitor at all. any ideas?

Man I wish I could help...I remember Fiznat had an issue with his 6AL when he was trying to install it with the AEM EMS. I just don't remember the issue exactly and he hasn't been on Nico in a LONG time. Do a member search for him and shoot him an email. All I can offer ATM

I thought the MSD boxes just basically spliced in line with the coil? Maybe I'm missing something...?I still want one for my car. I would like the soft touch rev limiter gimmick. I shoot flames sometimes, and it's scary...

i ended up finding that it was an issue with the box. on a good note its only costing me around 80 bucks for msd to fix it and since i only bought it for 25 i still make out instead of buying one new.
