I Have Sentra 1.8s and Need Answers

Ok i recently bought a 06 Sentra 1.8s. I dont know much about cars in general, but this is the car i decided to learn with. I want to put a nismo cat-back exhaust on it, the thing is i was told by a somewhat reliable source it may not fit because the 1.8s is a smaller engine. Basically will any 06 sentra performance part fit on my 1.8s? which ones do and dont? Like intake, headers...etc.-Colin

First off, welcome to NICO!

Second, I'll answer your question. Since the engines are different, engine parts from a 00-01 SE or 02-06 SE-R/SE-R Spec V will not fit. That includes intake, header, etc. Suspension parts are the same. Exhausts can be adjusted to fit. The hangers are different, but if you're set on a NISMO exhaust you can have an exhaust shop re-weld new hangers to make it fit. I have to suggest a 1.8 exhaust from BRM, HKS, or Greddy instead, though.

Thank you so much! I have been asking and looking everywhere for an answer. And I will definitely be more patient next in waiting for an answer. hahaWith all that in mind would it be worth putting money into my car, or just save for a different car.

It'd be more fun to commute with with bolt-ons, but you have to decide if a little more fun on your daily grind is worth the cash. It's certainly not going to be a sports car, and anything short of a turbo or engine swap means it will still be fairly slow.

It's all personal preference.
