Rear window shade question

I'm unsure whether this question is "Interior" or some other category, but I can't find another category that it fits easily into: My I35 came with the electric rear window shade, but it is stuck in the down and rolled up position. The switch makes it jump a titch, but otherwise it won't extend. Any suggestions on getting this lovely feature back on track?
