I would guess(just a guess as I dont know anything about your situation) that you have an issue with ignition relay or maybe the switch under the clutch(god I can never remember its name) that is the safety switch under the clutch.

if you have fuel, spark and air......... you should be running regardless of the timing atleast you should run.

can you push start it?

though I hate starter fluid what does that do?

how is the fuel in the tank?(old or new)

is your ECU good?

is the maf wired properly?

could you start at what you have gone over, so that we can take it from there? I mean there is a million and one possibilities.......

is it stock trim? tunes?

I suppose you could have a massive vac leak if it is trying to start and never does? or the maf isnt hooked up correctly maybe?

I'm disparate man, lol.

maf is wired correctly.

tried several different ecus that i know are good.

fuel tank is fine, with clean 93 in it.

havent tried starter fluid.

it has a front mount, and 3" downpipe, 2.5" exhuast,

stock turbo, and injectors, and everything else.

ninja edit: it also cranks fine.

I had a very similar problem.

3/4 injectors were stuck.

Although it cranks fine, does it have partial combustion, or nothing at all?

I know its basic, but check your grounds and all connectors to be sure they are clean, tight, and appropriately connected. I once picked a 90 supra turbo for 500 bucks with "electrical" problems. Turned out the MAF wires were slightly smashed and there was a ground loose, no other problems whatsoever.

I bet $500 that you're flooding the motor with fuel or you're not getting enough fuel.

If you have a spare set, I'd give it a shot. Check the resistor pack also.

A word of advice, you can change injectors without removing the intake manifold. Takes about 2 hours doing it that way.

Any chance did you do a 5speed conversion? If so check you clutch neutral safety switch(if thats what you call it, basically the wires that connect to the auto shifter) in the cabin. Mine was giving me hell but once i plugged those up my car started turning on like normal.
