If they are stock manifolds and a stock turbo they are definitely no where near worth $1000. I wouldn't spend much more than $50 on stock manifolds. If its a stock turbo I wouldn't spend much more than $80. If its an aftermarket turbo you need to find out what model it is as only a ball bearing unit could bring a price like that.As far as the intake manifold, you don't have to change it to do a turbo setup. There are other intake manifolds that will flow better but its a matter of whether they will fit in your car and if its even worth the time for the power you're looking for. Until you're wanting to make a lot of power, the stock intake manifold will probably do just fine.
If you need any large items shipped like engines or even front clips, I can help you out. Just go to AssociatedShippers.com and get a quote.

Yeah... to put it as lightly as I can, that guy is completely full of ****.You can pick up an entire 300ZX Turbo in good condition for $1500, the whole engine for $500 or less, I got a good condition Z31 T3 for $75 in the past... there's no way they would ever be that expensive. You can get a nice T3/T4 50 trim that matches the VG pretty well for around $600 I believe, and that's new and should support around 400 to 450 horsepower.

Even completely rebuilt and upgraded I wouldn't pay much more than maybe $400 to $500 for a Z31 T3. There's just no way it would ever be worth $1000. If he custom exhaust manifolds and a nice T3/T4 then I'd tell you to consider it... but stock manifolds with a modified Z31 T3 just won't come close. For that $1000, you should be able to get Z31 manifolds, a decent fuel setup, and a good used turbo like say a Holset or a decent T3/T4.

Yeah, for what he has and without a port and polish I would go no more than probably $200 personally. Unless that turbo was in perfect condition it won't bring much, if any, more than that.

Might keep an eye out on ebay and I'd also check out NICO's classifieds and some Z31 classifieds: http://forums.nicoclub.com/zeroforum?id=227 http://www.z31performance.com/...p?f=9
