SoCalVersaClub Meet At Griffith Park, Saturday June 28th Noon to 6

Hi all,

Just trying to nail this thing down. I looked at the map of Griffith park and looks like we can meet at Crystal Springs Drive picnic area. There should be BBQ's available so feel free to bring some stuff if ya feel like Q-ing. Come on out and meet your fellow club members, check out their cars, and have a few laughs, maybe plan the next meet too.

I'd also like to get an idea of how many people are coming as well. I'll be there, and I know #1 tango and skunk we're planning on coming as well.

Also, feel free to email me and I'll give ya my cell to contact, as long as you all don't start prank calling me.

oh man! that would be so cool! haha im so AMPED UP for this!!!! WHOA! im way excited for the meet. im coming for sure, im gonna drive down to my sisters pad in LA friday and then sat get some burgers and what not to bring to the park, (ill get extra stuff for others that would like to eat).

i hope to see/meet some people kinda towards my area up in oxnard/ventura, there are a good amount V's where i live and hopefully they are on here and goin to attend

hey man, ive watched my fair share of scooby-doo when i was younger :-Pi don't have a working camera, so taking pictures is kind of difficult for me. ive done quite some stuff to my car but i have no camera. maybe sat someone can take some pix and send them to me haha. ill see if i can find my lil sisters old kodak pos. i got dc strut bar, aem cai, custom exhaust w. 2.25 magnaflow, ozniums million color led's under the seats/dash and a nice blue dome light, i just got tint 35% front and 5% limo around w. 6'' strip, and red nismo seatbelt pads, oh and i re-did my badges and painted them. like i said, i wish i had a camera haha, but thats everything i have for now. saving for some rims and tires now

gr8dave37 theres several entrances that allow you to go into griffith park, this maybe a dumb question but ive never been there so, which entrance would we go through? i found a map and there are several entrances and it looks pretty massive, could you maybe throw out some directions? thanks!

Wow !!! finally we have a set date Count me in. About the BBQ, I dont think we can still do it there bcoz of that big brushfire that happen a while ago..maybe we can just bring the BBQ cooked already.

Darn I won't be able to make it on that day. I have to do ALOT of things on that day including the 8 hour course I have to take to get my damn guard card...DOH! Oh well. Have fun without me being there okies. And take some pics so I can see whats up!

I will call the ranger station tomorrow and find out what the dealio is on the bbq'ing. As far as directions I personally have never been to the park myself so when I tell ya it's near the merry go round you kinda will all have to fend for yourselves for now, do a google maps or something.

I will post tomorrow if we need to change the location due to the bbq issue.

hahaha ill just lurk around and look for another versa and follow them haha, if anyone sees a black sedan stock rims w. visors thats me! haha. so noon it is! if we can't do a bbq we could all decide on a restaurant or sumthn and cruise through town . im curious to see how many pple show up hopefully there will be a good amount

OK....I called the park rangers this morning....they are only allowing BBQ'ing at 2 places, Park center and Crystal springs drive. I edited the original post to show the new meeting area of Crystal Springs Drive picnic area. Thoe bbq's are first come first serve, so....if ya want one for sure maybe y'all wanna come a little early.

ok all who are showing up...put your cars best dress on cuz we are goin to be takin pictures! I figure we of all the people here at Nico should represent! I am going to print out the forms for the Calendar and I'll bring my laptop with me to the meet and when I get home I can upload all the pics to the admins to see if we can't get a versa in the calendar! I am secretly hoping that mine will get in of course! See you all tomorrow!!

I bought some chicken breasts and some buns for chicken sandwhiches...um...anyone bringing charcoal? lol...hard to bbq without it. I may have papergoods in the house...I'll check..far as I know it's only like 5 of us who are coming
