i know the infiniti/nissan brand is quality.. but i'm just curious to see how long these cars are known to last?

how many years and/or miles do you have on your model? whether it is a G, M, Q, etc??

G50 with aggressive maintenance are good for 350K+.

I've only spent $48,000 to keep my 1990 Q functioning over 18.5 years and 319,000 That was only $8,000 more than new purchase price.

The 1994 Q is less expensive to maintain and the revised 97-01 is the least expensive. The 2002 and newer are unknown since you really cannot tell until 7 6 years and warranty has expired.

Typically 100,000-200,000 miles is when the most expense is incurred.

A V8 cost 50% more than a V6 which is 50% more than a I4 based on averages.

So a I4 civic costs $1200 per year and a V8 cost $2400.

Just because you don't spend it in a year doesn't mean it doesn't accumulate.............you can usually defer things for 3-4 years then the disaster strikes.

So far the only expense has been tires and I chose the Infiniti extended warranty in 2 1/2 years.

Unfortunately no extended warranty covers wear and tear expenses. Thing made from or isolated with rubber, shocks, mounts, brakes, fluid and filter exchanges, belts and the VERY SERIOUS degradation of systems which rears its ugly head after 100,000 miles or 7-10 year.

Most vehicles are good to 100k, the question is how much they cost from 100k>200k when transmission, ac, and other expensive components fail.
