Weird problem with 2001 QX4 HID headlight...

I've got a problem with my RH HID headlight... when I turn on the lights, both sides light up, but then after about 10 seconds, the RH headlight shuts off... If I turn the lights off for about 5 seconds and switch them back on, both will light up but then again after 10 seconds, the right side shuts off again...

I can't get it to stay on any longer than that...

Anyone know what may be causing this??

The car is completely stock... and this just started happening tonight.

quite possibly it is the HID headlight balasts mounted underneath the headlight assembly. If you need a replacement email me
