Just finished watching evangelion

Watchd the entire series and the two movies over the weekend. This is the first time I've watched this highly acclaimed series, and I thought I would post my two cents on this series and the fans that adore it.

Before I begin I would like to say; I enjoyed this series, and I can see why it is a pinnacle point in anime history.

Now then, most people acclaim the series "evangelion" to be a very deep and intellectually stimulating movie, full of detail and depth that any suedo- intellectual would be able to sink their teeth into. And they are right. This movie would be considered deep by suedo intellectuals, mean while, for all of us who aren't 16 and have a firm grasp on reality and some idea of a college 101 psychology/philosophy class; this series was about as deep as a blow up pool in July. i just liked the battle sequences. every time the **** got serious i just wanted to skip it. i also cant count how many times i wanted to BEAT THE EVERLOVING **** out of shinji. what a vaj.
