+35 is the lowest offset they offer for the 17x9 962's (afaik...). It's all good though since you get a wide wheel with a 3 inch lip. Most ppl just use small spacers with these in the front in order to clear their suspension. Go too big on the spacers and the wheels start to poke out and need a pull if you're real low.orbie wrote:I have a very noob question...why run spacers? I also have been interested in the Sport Max 962 gunmetal for my white hatch. My car is a 92 and has a complete stock setup. Im thinking of 17s but, what offset should I use and why? Also I have plans to lower the car, but I would like to do so after I see how much wheel gap I have. Plz dont flame if this was suposed to go somewhere else. This website is huge and I just need an answer plz. TY very much in advance.Modified by orbie at 9:16 AM 7/16/2008
I am looking into getting the sportmaxx 962's for my s14 and was wondering what size wheels would be the best for front and rear if I want these wheels to sit flush? Right now I have the Evo 8 wheels on my car and with a +38 offset they are quite sunken in the rear...simmode1 wrote:+35 is the lowest offset they offer for the 17x9 962's (afaik...). 17X9+35 all around, homie. It's the best size for this particular wheel. Staggered wheels are pointless IMO. You may need, like, a 5mm spacer to clear your front suspension possibly. If so, may as well throw one on in the back too...treken2t87 wrote:I am looking into getting the sportmaxx 962's for my s14 and was wondering what size wheels would be the best for front and rear if I want these wheels to sit flush?
