There is an interesting thread going here:

http://forums.mbworld.org/foru...44457

Lots of reading but it might be helpful to prevent something like this in the future.

I don't want to go through 48 pages of thread, even though its interesting. Did they catch the guy? Last page says thread closed and news will be released.

Not yet. If a Q45 owner thinks this is the best thread ever, you haven't read any by Q45tech, TexasOil or other luminaries who post here.

If you play in this hobby for long you will be someone's victim.

My worst was a fellow who talked me into shipping a set of wheels to him COD. I packaged them, payed the shipping fee, and off they went. When they got to him he refused delivery (said he didn't like the way they looked!) so I had to pay shipping again just to get them back. I won't make that mistake again.

OBTW. Treat money orders just like a personal check. They can easily be stolen or falsified. That cost my wife a puppy.
