Exhaust system Help

Hello Everyone, My exhaust system on my 2001 Infiniti QX4 was making a rattling sound for a while. until today the rattling sound have stop when the sheet metal and insulation covering the pipes fell off on my way home. i collected some of it, but it is beyond repair.

do you know where i can find these sheet metals or insulations?

i also interested in after market kits to replace the whole darn thing. i have 2 pipes connecting to the Catalytic converter, then one outlet to a muffler (i am not sure if it is a resonator), and then the tip.

I think the general consensus around here is that the heat shields are completely useless. I tore all mine off 15,000 miles ago and no rattle, no issues!

Drive without 'em, you'll be fine.

your call will be fine, as long as you dont part over gasoline soaked leaves haha. then things might get a little crazy lol. but dont worry about it man. i ripped mine off a couple years ago because of rattling and theres no issues. just rip that **** off
