Hello fellow NICO I need your help.

Im planning on getting the "Nismo LMGT4 Wheels" for my 98 se kouki (black) in size 18.

I email "mynismo.com" about size fitment and such, and they recommand going "18x8.5 +25 front and 18x9.5 +30" as the "normal fitment".

Does every one agree ?

I sucks when it comes to size fitment and etc.

I want these rim in size 18, and have it sticks out close to the fender.

I dont want to buy the rims and then having to get spacers/etc.

CAN somone please help me on gettig the right size for my car and also tires.

Also, doesany one know of any great contacts or website for these rim, I could use the discount.

please help me!

THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!

I agree.... they DO come in those sizes... BUT from what I heard, you'll have to wait a while for Nissan to send it to you.

lol... no never. It's more of an agressive look.. but then again, you'll need to put in more work to make it look right (i.e. fender rolling, tire stretching, camber settings)... but the end product and look is worth all the work imo.

the 18x8.5 +25 /18x9.5 +30 should work... however, if you have coilovers, you may or may not have issues with clearance up front (with the inner lip of the rim touching the coilover springs. It depends on coilover brand, they're all different). If you DO have clearance issues... it should only be a difference of like 5mm (can be fixed with a 5mm spacer)... but for the most part, you're good to go...

oh here... you're lucky.. I did the research for you

pics for comparison...[18x8.5 +25 / 18x9.5 +30]

and

18x9.5 +12/18x10.5 +15

as you can see.. the second pic has a more agressive wheel stance... not to mention the 9.5 +12 has a concaved face and the 8.5 +25 doesn't (compare both the front wheels on cars).

Those cars are both pure sex. Althoug adrian is right (as usual)

The second picture really takes advantage of the better offsets giving it a MUCH improved look.

--- On a side note...LMGT4's? Jesus, you must be pooping money.

adrians_s13! thank you so much for you help! i really appreciated.

I dont know how you find thoe pix, i love it! ( I've been looking everywhere!!!, but no luck!)

yes.. ! popping money off the A$$, but i love that rim!

adrians_s13! when you said "9.5 +12 has a concaved face" what do you mean, the rim pointing inside ? just like the back of the rim, if thats what your talking about. it is doing that/ design that way, because of the size of the rim?

I was planning on going with the "normal look" but seeing the rim with "18x9.5 +12/18x10.5 +15" that aggressive look, I think thats what ima go for.

if i were to go "18x9.5 +12/18x10.5 +15" what size tire is appropriote? ( sp check).

Thank everyone so much for the help!

yup...

lower offset = more concave (or if you rather get a wheel design with a lip; Deeper Lip)

I mean, look at the rears on the second pic... that thing has a deep concave...

as far as tires go.. I'd go for like a 225/40 up front and a 245/40 in the rears...

Keep in mind that you do have to do some fender work... nothing major, but don't expect to toss them on and expect to drive off all dandy

Hey Adrain,

thanks alot for the reply,I'm really planning to get this rim soon, from a guy name joker, not sure if you know him or not, but he's on the 350z forum and supposly he gets a deal of any size / free shipping for the price of $1550.

so If i go with "(2) Front 18x9.5 +12, (2) 18x10.5 +15" I have to do fender work (rolling fender) what that just be the rear only, or front also. and your saying the size tires would be (front) 225/40 and (rear)245/40 ?

If i were to chose to go with "(2) 18x8.5 +25, (2) 18x9.5 +30" would that just plug and play, (i buy it, and its good to go, to be put on?

I know im asking alot of question, IM SO BRAND NEW To the sizing and etc, i never knew it would be just hard. lol

I found this pix on car domain, I keep on asking him what size he's rolling in but never he replied. do you have an ideal what size/offset this is.

again thank you very much for the help!!

(whoever s14 this belong to, I hope you dont mind me sharing or posting for help)

lol @ oldass thread.

Koguchi runs 17x9.5+15 and 18x10.5+12 on this s13. If it fits on an s13, you know it can fit on a Kouki with ease. He has overfenders in the pics, but he is running spacers too, and says without the spacers, these will fit under stock fenders just fine with a roll and pull.

Tire sizes: 235/40/17 and 274/35/18.
