My SC - is a 93 5- speed with the full 97+ conversion lights and all. Painted milennium silver.

But, i've been getting alot of offers from people to trade it for their S-14.5's. Right now i'm saving up for a turbo and rebuild, on the engine.

I just feel like S-14's are a young mans car, while a SC300 is a "gentlemens" car. Classier luxurious... and ****ty on gas lol.

And the S-14's are just too fast and furious for me, am i being jerk in saying that S-14's don't have the potential of SC's??

I'd much rather have the SC. I agree with you that it's a classier car. It also has a VASTLY superior engine.

I'd go with an SC300. Less cops harassing you, more luxury, higher resale value, comfy, great engine potential, and ladies will love it!

Pick one:

Wanna ride in my Nissan?Wanna ride in my...Lexus? <- (huge balls)

I guess it depends on what you want to do with it. For me personally, it doesn't matter what kind of car I'm driving to the ladies. Hell, I scored more hands-down than one of my buddies in the college era. He drove a brand new Cobra and I had my rusty '73 Buick Century.

I like to race. Any kind of race, just so long as I'm on the track. The lighter weight of the s14 would be a big factor for me here, and obviously there are plenty of solutions for power.

Hell, I'll take Chris Nichols' S14 over damn near any SC300.

I'd take an SC300 with as much $$ and work put into it .

Maybe Hal's (turbo6) SC300?zerothread?id=126177

The ease and availability of bolt on suspension and brake upgrades (Supra) make the SC a nice platform, but unless you're going all out (power-wise) like Hal, they're a bit of a piggy on the scale and thus not as nimble as an S14.

Jesus Keith, Hal's car is the exception, NOT the rule. I know you've defected to Lexus, but damn.

You'd be surprised at how many SC300's are being modded, not to Hal's level, but heck how many S14's are to Chris' level??

I'm driving a Lexus, and offering some perspective. I'd much rather have Da Beast back for daily use though . I kick myself every time I see MOD's sig.

In all seriousness though, getting Supra Turbo like power out of an SC is easier than getting Vette like power into a S14.

now, I'd wager there's more S14's on the level with C's car.

maybe not LS...but seriously fast cars.

<---would take either.

I'm cravin' an LS powered S30 right now though....I need a shell
