I've been driving my '06 SE-R at HPDE events twice now. This weekend I noticed that after each session, the oil pressure gauge was dropping down to probably <10psi. This is obviously very concerning! On track, everything looks fine, when I come off-track if I am driving or blip the throttle psi goes back up to where it should be, but when it is idling down after each session it sits there really low.I check my oil and there's plenty in there (and a recent change to synthetic 5W-30). I talked to a couple guys who had their VQ35DE's at the track and they'd never seen theirs drop so low (though one said he had seen his drop to ~15-20psi after a track run).
Any ideas? I really don't want to toast my engine!! (As is, I am likely going to move to a track-specific car soon as my daily driver doesn't appreciate this abuse!)
