How come everyone I talk to act like valve shims are this strange mysterious thing that no one dares go near. I do valve shims regularly on motorcycles, why is it such a taboo on our engines? All of the machine shops I talk to don't even do valve shims. The dealership doesn't know what I'm talking about, let alone are able to get them in.
that sucks. there are reputable shops out there that offer parts like this or can get them for you. AMS/turbo240sx is probably one of them, and they are a Nico sponsor. check there?
