vg30det wiring

Hello i'm from Greece and i own a s13. I am doing a vg30det swap from a jdm cima/leopard. The engine is in and ready to run all i have to do is the wiring. Here is the strange thing. The ecu no is 41P14. According to a google search this ecu belongs to 92 300zx tt auto. The color of the wires doesn't match all the colors of the fsm i use. I tried a lot of different fsms even a japan fsm of leopard but i have always the same problem. Eg at the no 18 pin every fsm says that this is the wire which drives the pump relay and it is orange. All fsms says that but in my it is not orange. It's green/yellow. So i can't do the wiring. Any suggestions? Is the jdm wiring different from the usa/eu/aus ?Thanks

I have a 94 300ZX FSM and it says pin 18 is black with a pink line, I believe. (B/P)

The green with yellow line wire looks to be on pin 42 and 52 and goes to the cam position sensor. I see orange on pin 9, 16, and pin 31.

Pin 9 goes to the a/c low pressure switch, pin 16 goes to the ignition coil relay and ECCS relay, and 31 goes to the engine and main harness and ends as the data link connector for Consult. There is another orange that is on the fuel pump relay and it comes from the fuel pump computer.

I'd say the one you're looking for right off the ECU for the fuel pump relay will be the black/pink one.

This is all for the 300ZX though... I'm pretty sure the DET would be similar but I'm not positive. Hopefully this helps a bit.

Sweet man I'm doing the exact same thing, that is freaking awesome. Another funny thing is, all I am going to have trouble with is the wiring. I'm unsure if my motor came from a lepord or a cedric or what but it is the jdm vg30det it has factor red valve covers. (maybe that can help id the motor) Anyway you say you have looked at lots of fsms for the motor correct? I would really like to see some of those because I am having trouble finding the wiring diagrams. Maybe we will be able to help each other out considering this isn't a common thing. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I'm so sorry i didn't answer but too much work doesn't allowed me. The wiring of the engine is pretty easy. I just followed a 94 300zx wiring diagram. I just had to wire up an eccs relay and an ignition relay, wire up the pump and i fired up. That sounds easy but it took me many many hours to figure it out. What's the code of your ecu? This will help a lot....

Hey I thought you forgot about the site. The thing is......I don't have an ecu for this motor just the wiring harness, I was thinking about a standalone or something. Anyway I have a different one now with an ecu that will run the car. I haven't started doing anything with it yet but in the end I'm sure we will both have to get standalones if we upgrade the motors.

hey guys...if u need an ecu....use an ecu from 92-94 maxima se...this ecu is off a ve30de ..comes with nvcs...and alll the goodies...plussssss it is set up so you can use a single 02 sensor------>for a single turbo......
