Help identify this bracket? Found it under the driver's seat.

I found this plastic bracket under the driver's seat - not sure where it came from and what it is... have a picture on my cell but haven't found a place to upload it yet.

Anyone know what it could be?

No idea. Around our house plastic parts under car seats are usually broken Happy Meal toy parts.

there's a little bracket supposed to be mounted to the floor to keep the drivers floor mat from moving.

Not being a Nissan guy I can only venture a guess but it looks a whole lot like a cover for a steering angle sensor. Have you had any work performed on it recently?

I wouldn't be it looks like some debris from manufacturing, more like a cover or a retainer from a connector. I would just throw it in the glove box and forget about it, or you could ask next time your at the dealer they may have seen it before.The more I think about it I think the passenger side has an occupant classification system, it may be a retainer for a connector under the seat. If you feel like looking under seat see if there is a connector under that that has a diameter similar to the square hole in the white plastic thing.
