q45 and 300zx rotors

i just want to know if q45 and 300zx rotors are the same because im planing on upgrading to 300zx brakes and i already have q45's. oh and i have 4 lugs. thank you for your info

i think outer diameter is the same but the z rotors are thicker

300zx rotors are either 280x26mm or 280x30mm. q45 are 280x28mm. You *should* be able to use the 26mm wide z rotors. I believe the min rotor width for the q45 is 26mm, so you might be overextending the piston once the rotor started showing any significant wear.

i am interested in swapping my rotors and calipers as well but was curious if the master cylinder should be swapped out too since everything is going to be larger than stock

if you are going from stock to 300zx brakes then yes you should use the z master as well
